Some times its the small things in nature that touch us as much as the grand breath taking landscape. It can be the two inch shell on a sunny Sanibel beach, or the Christmas Cactus that only flowers for us every couple of years. Maybe it's when the peak colors of Fall have passed and most of the leaves have fallen, but a maple tree stands in the afternoon light with most of its leaves sparkling like jewels.
