This was in a back room at the mansion. The black cloak that covered FDR's legs as shown in pictures at the famous Yalta meeting at the end of World War Two is hanging in the closet behind the chair.

Mrs Roosevelt would continue to work in the evening light in this chair after doing a full day in her office. This chair was used up to her death in 1962.
